What a great summer we have had so far! We took a trip to Ohio and Kentucky, had the Rose, Wells and Eddy families down to visit, fun trips to the beach and lots of swimming! Today we took a day trip to Orlando to go to Downtown Disney, Emma was so excited to see her favorite characters all over the place! And now our summer in pictures (it took a little hint from mom but I finally got time to upload and now blog):

Well, hello again! Hope all is well with everyone. We are all doing well and keeping busy. Brian is finishing up some training before he goes back to "real" work, Emma has been working hard with swimming and should be done with lessons next week, and I am just trying to keep up with a toddler who doesn't stop (unless Shrek is on)! And now what I am sure you are waiting for, the pictures!

Hello!!! The sun is shinning and the pool is warming and every thing is good here in Florida. We have had some wonderful visitors over the last couple of months. Thanks so much for coming Gale and Janet and Grandma Alice, we had so much fun, as always! We also had fun with Nanette and Nancy, who joined us for a couple of days before and after their cruise! It is always so hard to see our guests leave, as Emma enjoys the attention as much as we enjoy the company! So if you are headed south let us know, we would love to see you!!

Easter was a lot of fun this year! Emma was very excited to get her basket and to find the Easter eggs, she spotted them right away! We also went to a community picnic where Emma got to hunt eggs again! What a great day!

Hunting for eggs
At the community picnic: Driving the fire truck and jumping in the bouncy house (Emma didin't know what to think about this, notice Brian is in with there her)
Well I think that is all for now! Emma just started swimming lessons again yesterday so look for swimming pictures to come!
What a great day we had here today. The weather was finally in the 70 and the sun was shinning, what more can you ask for? Brian, Emma and I went to the park! Emma really liked the park, especially watching all the kids! After the park Emma took a nap and Brian and I washed both cars! Now getting ready for some grilled pork chops!
Such a fun day at the park!
And now some more pictures from the other day just because I thought they were so cute:
Eating a yummy cookie from E, B and O; Picking out what she wants from the Pottery Barn Kids catalog!
Sitting in the toy box reading a book!; Of course when she sees the camera she climbs out!
Emma just recently started emptying out all the toys from the toy box then getting inside! What a funny little girl! I just love to watch the new things that she learns each day!
Wow, so Happy New Year, since yes it has been that long since I have blogged. Things here are great other than this crazy weather, I know I shouldn't be complaining since we are not covered with feet of snow but it is pretty cool for Florida! We get one really warm day and then the next day it is back to being cool. These past coupls of months have flown by. Mom and Bill were here for a couple of days in January before and after taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral! It is never a dull moment when we are together as we laugh the whole time!
This is one of "funny" moments from their last visit!
The next week we had Gale and Janet for a visit. They were so nice to drive our Christmas stuff down that we were not able to bring with us on the flight. Thanks again, we really do appreciate it!

Emma has been growing like a weed and is becoming a little daredevil, she has learned to climb on the couch with no help, and has started to climb on the bench of our dining room table. She also climbs on the seat of her little bike, and just a couple of days ago started letting go and just standing on the seat. I know this is just the begining, who knows what she will be climbing on next. At least she hasn't figured out how to climb out of her crib...yet! And when Ms. Daredevil is not jumping off the couch or climbing things she loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It is pretty cute to watch her dance along with Mickey and the gang.
Reading and watching Mickey Mouse (aka "Hotdog)
We love Mickey!; Ms. Daredevil in action. She tipped over her toy bin so she could climb on top!
Lets see, what else has been happening? We went to the Florida State Fair a couple of weekends ago. We met up with Rachelle and Alexis and Rachelle's parents for the day. It was great to see them. We had lots of fun at the petting zoo, eating yummy fair food and watching some shows. The kids even got to ride a few rides!
Feeding the giraffe a carrot.; Alexis feeding a goat!
Emma riding her first fair ride!; Alexis riding the cars!
On February 7 Brian ran and finished his 7th half marathon. Emma and I did not get to see him finish this one but we were cheering him on from home. He did great one of his faster times!
On February 8 at 4:00 am we got up to watch the last night time shuttle launch. Always an amazing sight. Only 4 more shuttle launches left! One of those times I would like to go over to the beach to watch. So if anyone wants to join me just let me know!!

We are having so much fun watching Emma grow. We have so many pictures of her just playing and being silly. There is never a dull moment in our house.
Our Funny Little Valentine!!
All right I think we are all caught up! Hopefully it won't be as long until I post more. Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day with loved ones! Take care and stay warm, spring will be here soon!
So the tree has been up for about 2 weeks and Emma has just discovered that it is fun to play with. We let her touch it while trying to take some pictures, now it is almost a game to see how many ornaments she can get off before we stop her! Such a funny little girl!
It is so much fun to watch Emma discovering new things and taking it all in!
And this is what happens when we try to move Emma away from the tree at bed time:
There are a lot of things I miss about Ohio but the weather isn't one! We had a beautiful day today, it was 83 degrees and sunny (Brian and I even sat with our feet in the pool)! It was a nice day to be outside, and now with our pool fence it is much easier to be on the patio with Emma and not having to chase her (except for keeping her out of the cat food and litter box)!
